Key West City Guide is an independent information website served securely via Cloudflare Pages. We operate no user login accounts, no subscription paywalls, no community forums, and no third-party display banner networks. We do not track individual reading profiles or sell personal data.

Information we receive

We receive personal information in only two scenarios:

Direct correspondence: When you submit a message via our contact form or send an email, we receive your name, email address, and message contents. We use this information solely to reply to your inquiry.
Server & network logs: Our content delivery network (Cloudflare) logs standard technical connection data (IP address, browser type, timestamp, page requested) to deliver assets and maintain cybersecurity protection against automated bot abuse.

Analytics & measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated traffic patterns (which articles are read, general country/region of origin, and device category). Google Analytics uses performance cookies governed by Google's privacy policy. We do not enable advertising personalization, remarketing pixels, or third-party audience sharing.

Interactive Leaflet maps and embedded YouTube video summaries load on-demand, operating under the privacy terms of their respective platforms.

Affiliate attribution links

When you click an activity link to GetYourGuide or an accommodation link to Stay22 / Booking.com, the destination platform receives standard referral parameters to credit our account if you complete a reservation. Once you navigate to an external booking platform, all data processing, payment handling, and customer communications occur under that platform's terms and privacy policy. We never see your payment details or contact information; we receive only anonymous aggregate transaction summaries.

Links to municipal websites, the National Park Service, Florida State Parks, and official attraction ticket offices contain zero affiliate tracking.

Your privacy controls

You may block or delete cookies via your browser settings or privacy extensions at any time; all editorial content, schedules, and comparisons remain completely readable without cookies enabled. To request deletion of any correspondence you have sent us, write to us via our contact page.
