*Webmasters Note:

The ride from Key Largo, which is the beginning of the Keys, to Key West  is breathtakingly beautiful. The road is one lane in each direction in many spots so depending on local traffic or who is driving in front of you, the trip will be a slow one.  The small towns you will pass through one your way down offer some great restaurants and shops, so don't hesitate to stop to stretch your legs on the way down. There are also several great swim areas you'll come across on the way down.  If your not in a hurry, take a break and stop for a swim.
Warning: The local police officials are strict about the speed limits.  Please watch out for the speed limits as they change frequently and the local officials don't believe in warnings!
