Do your souvenir shopping on days when there are no cruise
ships in port. Check the local newspaper for the ships schedules or check our online cruise ship calendar. 
The downtown is extra busy on these days and prices are raised in many stores on days when cruise ships are docked.
When purchasing custom designed items like shirts, always get a final price in writing including exactly what is to be done.  As anywhere, check your receipts before leaving any store.
